| Colour Eurasiers come in all colours but white or white patches. You Can get Black, Black/Tan, Red, Fawn, Grey etc. Thanks to the Chow Chow genes, the breed also has a variety of tongue colours, which are pink, blue and spotted. |

| Grooming Eurasiers shed their undercoat twice a year, between then however there is very little moulting. In general this breed takes very little grooming compared to other breeds with similar coats, a good brush should keep the coat in condition, with a bit more work for those showing. |

| History Eurasiers have only been around for approx. 50 years. They were developed by Professor Julius Wipfel in Germany who was looking to create the ideal family dog. He chose healthy, good tempered dogs from the Chow Chow breed and bred them with chosen Wolfspitz (a breed similar to the Keeshond) bitches. In later years he then Bred the 'Wolf-chow' dogs with the Samoyed. These puppies where then given the name 'Eurasier', which came from the fact it was descended from breeds from Europe and Asia. |

| Positives The Eurasier is a healthy breed, who is very family orientated. They are even-tempered and enjoy to take part in a variety of activities with their family. They are good with Children and small animals, however as with all dogs, socialisation is key with each puppy. |

| Negatives The biggest negative with this breed is availability, with them being so rare it can sometimes take a while to find a puppy, however they are worth the wait. This is also not a kennel dog, they have been bred to be with the family therefore, it is not a breed that you can leave in the back garden. |
